We're trying to make a WF for budgeting process using BPM. We've chose it because of it flexibility, but we don't have any experience with that product. So I have some question about abilities of this system.
1. We have hierarchical process of approvement. I mean, several employees are approved by their own managers. These managers are approved by their own senior managers and so on. The problem is that we don't know how many employees there are, and who is their manager. All this information varies from branch to branch and maintained by process administrator. We even don't how many levels could it be. We want to calculate approval manager each time. Each manager can send his own budget only after approval all his employees budgets, senior managers only after approval all his junior managers and so on. So, is BPM able to support such kind of process?
2. Some times we have situations when approvement process has many-to-many relations. E.g. employees plan data for many areas and there are managers of some area, so each manager approves data for his area, but for all employees. And each employee is approved by many managers. Is it possible in BPM?
