I created and deployed a software component into Server. As part of development process I created a new DC under SC (Already depolyed one) when I deploy newly created dc into server it's not showing under SC (existing one) but as a free entry not chain under any SC. Is there any way I can do this using NWDS? Appreciate for your response.

I would like to use a variable text in the process subject for my BPM monitoring. According to Defining Pool User Texts - Modeling Processes with Process Composer - SAP Library this is possible by using parameterizes texts in the pool properties.
When I follow these steps to the letter, the process will no longer start and a generic error is thrown:
Failed to start the process; Process manager adapter may not be started; error= com.sap.glx.adapter.api.AdapterException: Process start failed due to TransitionException
Apparently, even assigning a constant value to the defined variable will prevent to process from running. How can I properly set up the parameterizes texts so I can show the content of a specific field in my BPM monitoring?

I have read every sentence of BPM archiving manual and I still have no answer for my question.

I want make business process model for UOM, where forecast coordinator is creating a scenario and passing that scenario to selected users to gather information for making a forecast , forecast coordinator is manually selecting users and assigning them to a user group and to that group one object group (objects are the fiori pages where user will enter their input and submit, these object can be close to 10 also )is assigned .
1. Now a task should be made in users worklist through BPM process and all users should be able to claim and edit the task and submit. (it should not be that only user who is claiming the task should be able to edit and then tasks disapears from other users list).
2. We dont know how many user group and object group forecast coordinator will select, to what user group he will assign which object group , so everything is dynamic.

We have a requirement to search for all Completed tasks within a certain date and time period. Can this be achieved using BPM APIs? It has to be all the tasks and not just the tasks of the logged in user. If this is possible, can you please explain how and from what version is this possible. We are currently on 7.4 SP5.

I can create multiple task id for same ui task using looping ? but what if each task id has to be given too different users? is it possible?
For example :-
Using tokenize i can create two taskid of same process
now each task needs to go to different users.

I started to implement UIs for SAP BPM in UI5 instead of WebDynpro.
In NWDS I had to create two Development Comonents (DC):
I followed this steps: SAPUI5 Integration into SAP BPM Made Easy
In the Standard-Project (after the NWDS wizard to create a UI), there is a model containing Strings.
These Strings define the texts of Buttons, Form Elements, Header, ...
I have changed one String in another Header Text.
Additionally I have added one more textfield in the view.
After changing the source I "Build"* the Web Module DC and I "Deploy"* the EAR containing this Module as Dependency.
After starting the BPM process I've received the Task and the UI of the Human Activity. But there are no changes in UI. 
No text change. No new textfield.
Why?

I want to develop a custom java client that runs locally on my computer which reads the statistics of the processes & tasks periodically.
Is there any API that I can use to connect to my CE 7.2 server and read various statistics like process owner, process status and task status & current owner of the task etc in my application.
Do you guys know of any API to achieve this. All the blogs talk about BPM Reporting API that's available for CE 7.3 but that is not useful for me because I am working with CE 7.2 system.

Is there a way to view what the archived tasks completed by the user.
We have some customers that are going to approve a task. Once the task is a proved it is removed form their inbox.
It is possible to see the task in the completed tasks, but it does not contain any information on what have been completed.
Is there any way to display to the user what have been completed in the inbox or should they have a different place to view thise.

We have implemented custom action and process them through BPM inbox. We found that there is no logged in user propagation, all actions processed by SAP_BPM_Service.

Just deployed my first BPM with UI5 screens to start the BPM process. However when I try to access the UI5 startscreen it throws the following 403 Forbidden error and below is the error in the security log. The user has "Administrator" access in the system. Is there any other setting or role required to start the UI5 screen.

I have a question on how to setup a UI5 or for that matter any UI navigation via BPM. We want to use PI/PO via BPM to retrieve information from multiple systems based on the selection criteria in the first screen and display the info on the second screen. For ex in the below process we have a UI5 screen where we enter lets say Sales Order Number and on submit it starts the BPM process that calls multiple automated activities(which are proxy calls to ERP and JDBC calls to legacy systems) in the background and we want to display the results of these two activities on the second screen. Question is how do we keep the session alive and navigate to the second screen. Any thoughts are highly appreciated.

I have created a custom task (using UI5) and deployed the same with BPM process on PO server. So, my UI5 is working fine and i am able to view the input data inside custom UI5 task, but i am getting below exception (in NWA) while trying to complete (approve) my task. We have the following problem: some method works perfectly for one users and doesn't work for another. We cannot sort the problem out.
Our EJB function throw an exception "Caused by: com.sap.bpm.exception.api.BPMIllegalAccessException: com.sap.glx.process.exception.ProcessAuthorizationException: User 'XXX' has no permission for calling this method with id 'YYY"
This function cancel specified process by URI.
The questions are: what authorization does it require and what is the approach to resolving such issues?
How to determine necessary authorization for the specific API method? In our case it is ProcessInstanceManager.cancel(URI processInstanceId)
